New computer models at Dell

"Today the selection of a computer for an office is a daunting task. As many companies now equip staff with laptops and selection of a sufficiently hardy machine with required processing features is a near impossible task," said Dell's General Manager for the South Asia Developing Markets Group, Harjeet Rekhi.

"Dell has come up with a range of computers that are hardy and fast. As office-owned machines have a greater likelihood of being mishandled, companies buy cheap computers."

"This has a drawback as these computers have a low level of performance. With Dell computers, the private and government sector have the opportunity to equip staff with computers that are hardy and efficient," he said. The introduction of a changeable battery is also included in the high-end models and tablets. The security features such as a fingerprint scanner and SIM card scanner are optional.

A battery with a life of 18 hours is offered with these models. However an additional battery may be carried along for those who required extended field use. All models offer the feature of being dockable.
