Uni Walkers launches mobile showroom

The Panasonic mobile showroom

A mobile showroom featuring the Panasonic range and services was launched by Uni Walkers (Pvt) Ltd, the retail arm of Softlogic Holdings PLC. The state-of-the-art Panasonic mobile showroom which showcases a wide range of Panasonic durables, is in the form of an 18.5 foot truck now Panasonic products will be available in rural areas.

"We are pleased to have launched this service as it will help us take the Panasonic brand closer to the people, allowing them to not only purchase, but also experience these products.

This mobile showroom is expected to attract more customers due to its easy accessibility," said Uni Walkers, Head of Business Development, Induka Perera.

The truck would feature several displaying different products such as a cookery section, home supply section and beauty-care section . The showroom will also have sales assistants and technicians to serve customers, he said. There are over 150 Panasonic showrooms at present with plans to increase it to 200 by March this year.
