No time-keeper at Kataragama

People visit Kataragama to pay homage to the Kiri Vehera and the Kataragama Maha Devalaya. Foreign Hindu devotees also visit this holy place frequently.

Although buses ply round the clock to Kataragama the time-keeper works only during the day and there is no officer to help pilgrims about the buses specially at night.

The pilgrims call upon the authorities to appoint a time-keeper round the clock to help pilgrims to and from Kataragama.
