First innings win for Prince of Wales' 'A'

Prince of Wales' College beat Ananda College, Colombo by 45 runs on first innings in their inter-school second eleven cricket match played at Moratuwa.

Anandians batting first were all out for 184 runs with Lakhana Jayasekera making the top score of 45 runs while Ravindu Sasanka claimed 4 for 35 and Cambrians replied with 229 runs with Gihan Ramedha scoring 48 runs and Nishan Bandaranayake bagged 5 for 53. In their second essay at stumps visitors were all out for 185 runs with Lakhana Jayasekera scoring 58 runs.

Ananda 'A': 184 (Nisal Francisco 24, Lakhana Jayasekera 45, Adeesha Rajarathne 36, Nishan Bandaranayake 20 n.o, Suraj Divanka 4/26, Ravindu Sasanka 4/35) and 185 - (Lakhana Jayasekera 58, Adeesha Rajarathne 22, Tharana Ravindu 36, Nishan Bandaranayake 33, Ashen Fernando 3/28, Suraj Divanka 2/42, Chamindu Peiris 3/37).

Prince of Wales' 'A': 229 (Kavindu Sasanka 37, Vishva Chaturanga 24, Asela Malaka 28, Suraj Divanka 29, Gihan Ramedha 48, Nishan Bandaranayake 5/53, Nishan Alwis 3/69).
