HRM workshop

A one-day workshop on 'Facing Competition through Best Human Resource Management (HRM) Practices' organised by the National Chamber of Commerce of Sri Lanka (NCCSL) will be held on Thursday from 8.30 am to 5.00 pm at the NCCSL auditorium in Colombo.

With increasing competition, business enterprises are compelled to supply quality products and services at competitive prices to their customers. Productivity improvement plays a vital role in this exercise.

NTB launches shopping debit Master Card

Nations Trust Bank PLC (NTB) has launched the Nations Trust Shopping Debit Master Card with Brand Ambassador Kumara Sangakkara as chief guest.

CEO of Nations Trust Bank, Renuka Fernando, said that it was a prestigious card to have in one's wallet. CSE opens branch in Ratnapura

The Colombo Stock Exchange (CSE) opened its seventh branch in Ratnapura last week.

It will provide investors from the Sabaragamuwa Province, education and investment opportunities in shares and corporate debt listed on the CSE. The branch will conduct educational programs and exhibitions for students from schools and higher educational institutions.

The CSE branch network was launched in 1999, with the opening of the Matara branch.

Kanrich Finance annual report wins four awards

Kanrich Finance Ltd's annual report for 2011/12 won two gold awards and two silver awards at the 2013 International ARC awards in the Financial Services Category. The awards presentations will take place this month in New York City.

The 2011/12 Annual Report, 'Let's get together and grow together' was done in line with the company's vision giving due consideration to regulatory disclosures and other acceptable norms.
