Top Googlee executive to speak at economic summit
Ann Lavin, Director of Policy and Government Affairs Asia-Pacific at
global technology giant Google, will be delivering a speech at a Special
Event on 'Igniting Innovation and Entrepreneurship in South Asia' at the
6th South Asia Economic Summit (SAES), taking place at the Cinnamon
Grand Hotel in Colombo on September 4.
As Google's Director Lavin works on a range of issues including
economic empowerment, content regulation, geopolitics, privacy, and
general technology policy. Prior to joining Google, Lavin was a Senior
Advisor with McLarty Associates, a US-based strategic advisory firm, and
Vice President of the US-ASEAN Business Council, the principal US
business organization in Southeast Asia. |
