Two new directors at NDB

NDB Bank has appointed two new directors, Indrani Sugathadasa and Sunil Wijesinha to its Board of Directors. The Colombo Stock Exchange was informed of the appointments on Friday, October 4.

Ms Sugathadasa is the Chairperson of the Insurance Board of Sri Lanka. She entered the Sri Lanka Administrative Service in 1977 and has held several senior positions including that of Permanent Secretary to the Ministry of Child Development and Women's Affairs and Ministry of Plantation Industries. She was also the Chairperson of the Securities and Exchange Commission of Sri Lanka (SEC).

Wijesinha is a Chartered Engineer, a Chartered Management Accountant, FCMA (UK) and holds an MBA. He has been on the Boards of Sampath Bank (Deputy Chairman), Merchant Bank (Managing Director), Employees' Trust Fund Board (Chairman), Merchant Credit of Sri Lanka (Chairman), Lanka Securities, DNH Financial, DFCC Vardhana Bank, Colombo Stock Exchange and Siyapatha Finance Ltd where he is the Deputy Chairman.
