AmCham appoints new Board of Directors
The 21st Annual General Meeting of the American Chamber of Commerce
in Sri Lanka (AmCham) was held recently at the Hilton.
A new Board of Directors was appointed for 2013/2014. The keynote
address was delivered by the Cultural Affairs Officer of US Embassy in
Colombo, Ms Dawn M. Suni who spoke on 'US-Sri Lanka Economic
Relationship'. The newly appointed AmCham Board of Directors:

President, Suren Rajanathan (Vice President, 3M Sri Lanka), Vice
President, Asanka Ratnayake (Director, Mountain Hawk Express), President
Emeritus, Vijaya Ratnayake (Managing Director, Zodiac Medicals),
Secretary, Prakash Mirchandani (Group Finance Director, Favourite
Group), Treasurer Rajendra Theagarajah (Director and CEO, NDB Bank).
Directors: Nimal Cooke (Executive Director, The Maharaja Organisation
Projects), Vasantha Leelananda (Executive Vice President, John Keells
Holdings and Walkers Tours Ltd), Felicio Ferraz (Managing Director and
CEO, Ceylon Tobacco Company), Poojitha Rajapakse (Director and OEM,
Microsoft Sri Lanka), Dinesh Mendis (Director, Aitken Spence Group and
Managing Director, MMBL Money Transfer (Pvt) Ltd), Hatem Rajabdeen
(Business Manager, North Manufacturing (Pvt) Ltd and US Embassy
Representative, Christopher Corkey.
Suren Rajanathan the newly elected President has over 25 years of
experience in marketing and general management in multinational
companies. He holds an MBA from the Postgraduate Institute of
Management, University of Sri Jayawardenepura. |
