Ceylinco Life introduces Ran Daru Charika
Ceylinco Life will provide an entertaining and educational excursion
in Colombo for children from all 25 districts of Sri Lanka.
Linked to the company's annual distribution of school timetables
countrywide, the Ran Daru Charika competition will provide an
opportunity for thousands of children to compete for the 500 seats --
for 250 children, each accompanied by a parent -- on the first ever tour
of Colombo.

Distribution of timetables for the 2014 school year began on October
1. Each timetable has a detachable coupon to be filled in and returned
to the nearest Ceylinco Life branch.
Winners for the Ran Daru Charika will be chosen by a lucky draw
designed to ensure that every one of Ceylinco Life's 250 branches will
be represented by a child.
"As with our annual Family Savari program, this too will promote
interaction and unity across geographic, racial, religious and
socio-economic divides, and offer entertainment and a learning
experience while helping create awareness about life insurance,"
Ceylinco Life's Director and Deputy CEO, Thushara Ranasinghe said.
"It will be a challenging logistical exercise, but our events team
has organised bigger and more complex tours in Sri Lanka and overseas,"
he said.
The cut-off date for sending in completed coupons is November 30, and
the Charika will take place in December.
Ceylinco Life sources said it will select another 750 consolation
prizes from among the children who do not win a seat on the Ran Daru
Charika. |
