Kelani Cables conducts training program
Electrical and Communication cables manufacturer, Kelani Cables PLC
has launched workshops for students following electrical courses at
Technical Colleges in electrical wiring systems, as a CSR program.

The program is conducted with the technical education and training
department of the Youth Affairs and Skills Development Ministry.
The inaugural program was held at the Weerawila technical education
centre, and will be carried out in technical colleges throughout the
island soon.
The newest methods and techniques used in electrical systems will be
taught to the students. Under this CSR program, Kelani Cables conducts
two separate programs for technical officers and professional
electricians to teach them the latest techniques.
Over 60 students were present at the first program at Weerawila.
The main lecture was conducted by the Sales Engineer of Kelani
Cables, Sanjeewa Gunatilleke. His lecture covered areas such as nature
of construction, number of floors and selecting wires according to
varied needs, standards of wires and laying wires using secure methods.
Kelani Cables, Brand Development Manager, Channa Jayasinghe said, "Our
company considers this CSR program as an investment made for the benefit
