9th Zahira Super 16 Soccer Sevens for Peace Cup on Oct. 26th

Zahira Super 16 Soccer 7's organised for the 9th consecutive year will be on Saturday October 26 at the Zahira College Grounds, Maradana.

This is inter-school seven-a-side invitational soccer tournament approved by the Ministry of Education and recommended by the Sri Lanka Schools Football Association.

It was inaugurated in October 2003 by the Past Prefects Association of Zahira College. This theme - "I'm Sri Lankan - Play for Peace Cup".

This year the participating schools will comprise teams from North (Jaffna), South (Matara), East (Trinco) and West (Colombo).

The participating schools: Ananda College, AL-Aqsa College - Kinniya, D.S. Senanayake College, De Mazenod College, Kandana, Hindu College, Holy Cross College, Kalutara, Isipathana College, Mannipai Hindu College, Jaffna, Maris Stella College, Negombo, St. Benedict's College, St. Joseph's College, St. Mary's College, Kagalle, St. Thomas' College, Matara, Wesley College, Zahira college, Colombo and Zahira College, Mawanella.
