Final touches for Deyata Kirula 2014

Infrastructure facilities in the Kurunegala, Kegalle and Puttalam administrative districts would be expanded and promoted at a cost of Rs. 60,000 million under the Deyata Kirula - 2014 national development program.

In addition, the Ministry of Economic Development has succeeded in holding mobile services programs in the three districts to offer speedy solutions to the pressing problems of residents. Ranjith Siyambalapitiya, Minister and Chairman of Deyata Kirula - 2014 Organising Committee told the Sunday Observer that this national development exhibition would be opened on February 21 at the Kuliyapitiya Wayamba University premises by President Mahinda Rajapaksa.

Minister Siyambalapitiya said that the exhibition was scheduled to be opened on February 5, but had to be postponed due to several other development projects which had to be amalgamated with those existing.
