Yohan and Kavinda excel in drawn game

Two spin bowlers from either side Yohan Soysa 5 for 55 (St. Benedict's) and Kavinda Udapola (7 for 52 (St. Anthony's Katugasthota) stole the limelight in their drawn school cricket encounter ended at Kotahena yesterday.

Soysa bowling his left arm leg spinners captured ( 5 for 58) while Udapola the Katugathota Anthonian had the startling figures of (7 for 52) as both sides were dismissed below 200.

The Anthonians batted painstakingly for their 188 in the first innings amidst Soysa's accuracy. The Bens fared no better in their first innings when Kavinda Udapola the right arm leg spinner's mesmerising spell saw the Katugasthota school obtaining a first innings lead.
