Financial Accounting Theory Questions and Answers
For those who are looking for books containing theory questions and
answers for the UK based examinations, there are two books for students
preparing for foundation and intermediate levels in Financial
Accounting.
The author Hilary Ryan Fernando said, "Most examinations today
require students to have a good knowledge of theoretical aspects of
accounting. In many UK based examinations, as much as 20 - 30 percent
marks are awarded for theory. Unless a student has a good grasp of
theory, he or she may fail to secure a high grade at these
examinations."
With over 15 years experience in coaching students, Fernando said, "I
have also observed that students prefer always to work numerical
examples. Many students are easily bored with theory and are often
reluctant to attempt theory questions."
It is to address this issue, the author has published the two books,
which will be invaluable resource books for students sitting foundation
level examinations of CIMA, ACCA, and also for Cambridge, IGCSE, GCE,
IAB, AAT and examinations conducted by Edexcel such as Ordinary and
Advanced Level (London).
Hilary Fernando is a Chartered Global Management Accountant, a Fellow
of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (UK) and a Fellow
of the Certified Management Accountants of Sri Lanka.
