Pandit Amaradeva felicitated

The Seva Vanitha Unit of Sri Lanka Army has awarded a Rs. 1.5 million
to music maestro Pandit Dr. W.D. Amaradeva for the outstanding
contribution he made to Sri Lankan music field.
Mrs. Amaradeva too has been awarded gold jewellery worth Rs. 200,000
for her devotion to the well-being of her husband. Amaradeva has
rendered unique service to the music realm of Sri Lanka. A musical
concert was recently held at Sugathadasa National Stadium in Colombo and
the funds collected at the concert were given away to this great
musician by the Seva Vanitha Unit of Sri Lanka Army |
