Mihin Lanka increases flights via Mattala

Mihin Lanka has increased the number of flights operating via the Mattala Rajapaksa International Airport (MRIA).

The three destinations that Mihin Lanka operates flights to the Indian subcontinent, via MRIA, include Madurai, Gaya and Varanasi. The airline also operates seasonal flights to Medan in Indonesia via MRIA.

As Sri Lanka's only low-cost airline, Mihin Lanka strives to promote MRIA to spearhead the development of the country. The state-of-the-art international airport is strategically located to connect to over 60 percent of the world within eight hours and has a 12,000 square-metre international terminal building and a duty-free section spanning one million square feet.

Mihin Lanka operates flights across the region to sacred places that are of significance to people of various religions.
