AGM of St.Aloysius OBA
The 79th Annual General Meeting of OBA Colombo Branch St.Aloysius’
College, Galle, will be held on today at Sasakawa Memorial Hall, Sri
Lanka Japan Cultural Centre, Colombo 3 at 9.15 a.m.
High Court Judge, Balapitiya Mohan Seneviratne will be the chief
guest and Fauzal Haqque will be the guest of honour.
Sunday school’s 14th anniversary today
The Ahadiyyathul Darus Salam (Sunday school) has organised its 14th
anniversary and prize-giving today at 1.00 p.m. at the Tower Hall,
Maradana.
Principal Moulavi Zaneer will preside. Industry and Commerce Minister
Rishard Bathiudeen, Deputy Minister of Investment and Promotion, Faizer
Musthapha and Duminda Silva MP will be the chief guests while ITN
Director Hashim Omar will be the guest of honour.
‘Traffic Sergeant’ today
Sando Harris’ ‘Traffic Sergeant’ will be staged at the Ananda Balika
Vidyalaya hall today at 3.30 p.m. and 6.30 p.m. There will be a repeat
show at the Kalutara Police Training College hall tomorrow at 3.30 p.m
and 6.30 p.m.
The cast includes Sando Harris, Prasanna Fonseka, Milinda Perera,
Melani Asoka and Savindra Perera.

The 160th Sree Narayana Guru Jayanthi celebrations will be held
today,September 28 at 4.30 p.m. at the Sree Narayana Guru Memorial
Malayalee Hall at Layards Broadway, Colombo 14. The National Languages
and Social Integration Minister Vasudeva Nanayakkara will be the chief
guest.
Telecommunication and Information Technology Deputy Minister Praba
Ganeshan and parliamentarian R. Yogarajan will be the guests of honour.
Kids ‘n’ You – Story Fest 2014

Kids ‘n’ You – Story Fest 2014 will be held at the Cinnamon Lakeside,
Colombo on October 12 at 3 p.m. It will have a magical story time, giant
art wall, grow a tree of love, craft loft and a pet corner.
The story fest is sponsored by Acron, Makeen and Edific. Tickets are
