Kandy York 'A' Division Soccer Champs

York Soccer Club, Kandy emerged champions of the 'A' Division
knock-out in the finals played at the Bogambara grounds, Kandy played on
February 15. York S.C. Beat Hyline S.C. 1-nil. The goal was scored by
York skipper S.A.S. Sugath Senadi in the 78th minute of the game.
Senadi played in the Centre Forward position. The Tournament was
organised by Kandy Association Foot ball league.
The 'B' Division was won by Sunshine F.C. Who beat Unicorn F.C.
Ampitiya by 2 goals to nil. Pradeep Kumara and R.B. Ranasinghe scored a
goal each for the winners. There were 16 teams that participated in the
tournament in the 'B' division tourney.
