TNA demands: Laws to end poaching by Indian fishermen
TNA Parliamentarian M. A. Sumanthiran on Friday urged the government to
bring necessary laws to prevent Indian fishermen from poaching in Sri
Lankan territorial waters. Speaking during an adjournment debate on the
problems faced by Sri Lankan fishermen due to Indian fishermen
exploiting fishing resources in Lankan waters.

Megapolis Master Plan and Act next year:
The Ministry of Megapolis and Western Development is formulating the
National Physical Plan, Megapolis Master Plan and the Megapolis Bill to
kick start the commence implementation of the Megapolis Development Plan
