Ceyoka Engineering obtains ISO certification
Ceyoka (Pvt) Limited’s foray into the construction sector through its
subsidiary Ceyoka Engineering has helped to set up an industry
frontrunner for all types of construction activities.
Despite its beginning in 2013, as a startup, Ceyoka Engineering is an
ICTAD C4 grading holder for buildings, highway and water supply and
drainage and C7 for bridges, irrigation and land drainage, drainage and
reclamation, and storm water drainage.
Coupled with ISO 9001: 2008 certification and as a member of the
National Construction Association of Sri Lanka, the company aims to
pursue and launch projects which are strategic in nature and vast in
terms of contract value. Ceyoka’s construction division is recognized
for its professional client-focused solutions exceeding expectations on
every project and delivering on promises. The company has grown during
the past two years, a company spokesman said.
Today, Ceyoka’s construction unit has grown to encompass a team of
over 86 employees. They include qualified, experienced and trained
consultants, chartered engineers, surveyors, and project managers.
Ceyoka’s first construction venture was building the ground reservoir
for the Wariyapola water supply scheme.
To-date Ceyoka’s scope of work includes various infrastructure
development projects such as the construction of the
Nugegoda-Raththanapitiya canal station, the laying of distribution
extensions for the connection enhancement project in Kandy, the
rehabilitation of the storm water drain at Guildford Crescent, Colombo 7
and the construction of the water supply scheme at Kamburawala for the
Palinda Nuwara Pradeshiya Sabha. |
