Ransirilal's awards haul
 Creating history of sort for local television, Director, Sri Lanka
Rupavahini Corporation (SLRC), Film and Dubbing Unit, Athula Ransirilal
won four awards at the State Television Awards recently. The awards were
for pre-Publicity Spot (Sinhala), Advertisement (Sinhala), Special
Mention of the Jury (Children's Programmes) and Best Children's Feature
(Sinhala). Picture shows Ransirilal receiving the award from SLRC
chairman Ravi Jayewardene.
