Alvin Arulmaran and Stephan Perera excelled by establishing two new meet records each while Vihanga Perera and Rukshala Wijesingha established one new meet record each.

Vinuka Fernando, Amrith Perera and Kavindi Sumathiratne were also among the gold medalists.

Gateway finally ended up as runners up with a total score of 974 points raising their standard further.

The Championship was organised by the Asian International School with the participation of 21 reputed International Schools from across the country. Several Gateway swimmers performed exceptionally well over the year in many national level meets. Among them was Stephan Perera, a key achiever who won five gold medals at the Junior National Short Course championship, three golds at the Senior and Junior National Long Course championship 2015 and a gold in the National School Games 2015.

At the Junior National Short Course championship 2015, Vihanga Perera and Stephan Perera also won a gold medal each.

At the National Age group championship 2015, Stephan Perera (two golds), Alvin Arulmaran (two golds), Sharon Perera (one gold) and Araliya Gunasekara (one gold) performed creditably.

Stephan Perera and Alvin Arulmaran also took home a gold medal each at the Penthathlon championships.
