Ceylinco Developers launch Millennium Villas Ceylinco Developers Limited, launched their latest project, a Rs. 1.5 billion exclusive luxury complex in Ja-Ela recently. With over 2000 customers having already purchased Millennium City homes, the latest addition to Millennium City will comprise 100 luxury villas on 30 acres of prime land in close proximity to the proposed Colombo-Katunayake super highway and the airport. Speaking at the launch of Millennium Villas, Deputy Chairman CDL Bandula Ranaweera said that they were overwhelmed by the confidence the public had in the company, "The fact that we have currently over 2,000 customers has given us the confidence to launch such a luxury housing project a primarily upmarket one where customers could make their choice from eight different designs and sizes". Ranaweera said that already 10 customers had made reservations of the 40 houses that comprise the first phase of this project and added that a special offer of a diamond necklace worth over Rs. 250,000 was being made to the first 20 customers. "There are a very limited number of lake front and park view villas and these would be available on a first come first served basis". This too would be a BOI approved and sponsored project with each house being built on 12 to 20 perches of land with prices ranging from Rs 12 - 18 million. "We hope to target professionals and businessmen as well as expatriate Sri Lankans who wish to have a superior quality home in a secure and eco-friendly environment", Ranaweera said and added that it was CDL's aim to enhance the quality of living for Sri Lankans via the Millennium City housing concept. |
