Blast in Lebanon : Sri Lankan woman injured A bomb blast in Kaslik, 20 km from Beirut, capital of Lebanon on Friday around 5.30 p.m. injured eleven persons including one Sri Lankan woman named Susila Herath Piyasena, who has sustained minor injuries. She has been discharged from hospital, immediately after treatment. According to Lebanese authorities there were no other Sri Lankan casualties reported. However, Embassy officials are continuing inquiries as to whether any other Sri Lankans were affected. bThe Sri Lanka Embassy is monitoring developments and is in constant contact with Lebanese authorities. |
