(Heal the World - Michael Jackson)

Michael Jackson is known as the "King of Pop". He is the most talented of the five brothers. His songs have kept audiences spellbound.

Recent allegations against Jackson, tarnished his popularity and his reputation. The lyrics of 'Heal the World' was extremely popular in the 1970's, as the people of the USA had become "sensitive to war". This song reveals the feelings, sensitivity, especially that of the young crowd, to war. They yearned for peace and harmony. Bob Dylan, an American composer and singer, whose song "Blowing in the Wind" reflected the evil effects of war, injustice and violence and was about people refusing to see or understand this issue.

Michael Jackson's "Heal The World"; make it a better place for you and for me and the entire human race' is a song of "universal appeal"

It had serious effects on the selfish, power crazy politicians who initiated war. They were panic stricken with the lyrics, shattering their hopes and aims. This song has become a unique piece of writing It begins by revealing the importance of being kind and loving, making way for brighter days sans agony and sorrow. There may be people dying, but try at least to care for the living making the world a better place for every living being and I know that it is love ...

By eradicating evil and envious attitudes; sowing the seeds of brotherhood, this world will become a

The repetition of the words "so make a better world, make a better world" emphasises and highlights the importance of creating peace and harmony love and kindness to the "entire human race", 'for you and for me' is frequently repeated highlighting and urging the necessity for peace and unity among all living beings.

The singer makes a genuine request; a request that would Heal The World - to make the world a better 'Place for You and for me'

There's Biblical reference which brings importance and gravity to the ideas expressed.

and stop the world from getting subjected to violence. The turning of Swords' into 'Ploushares' symbolizes peace and harmony, prosperity and brother hood, getting rid of envious motives and revengeful deeds and reaches for "The dream we were conceived in" to overcome the evils of a dreadful world.

The repetition of the chorus highlights the daintily produced musical effect inviting the attention of the readers into kindliness. The song ends with the line "You and for me" repeated nearly twelve times highlighting the extreme urgency and importance of brotherhood, peace and harmony, irrespective of communal differences, "Heal The World" is a unique piece of writing. The tone of the song is very touching, "make the world a better place for you and for me"

The singer communicates the theme of the song in a very effective manner. The repetition of the words appealing to the entire world.
