New corporate image for Bartleet Group
The Bartleet Group, a leading private conglomerate in the island
unveiled a dynamic new look to reflect its strength, values and future
direction. The new image reflects its determination to succeed and grow
in a competitive global marketplace.
The Group has also re-classified its operations into three sectors -
Plantation and General, Financial and Information Communication in
accordance with a repositioning strategy conceived to face the
challenges of the future.
The new image is symbolised by a new Group Logo. It shows the
distinctive capital letter B with the left-pointing arrow in white
against a red sphere.
The sphere represents the world, while the colour red reflects
boldness in facing emerging challenges, and white symbolises purity and
integrity in corporate governance.
The trimmed edge of the letter B against the circle indicates
movement and adds dynamism to the corporate image. The gradation of red
to dark red gives enhanced visual impact, signifying both diversity and
versatility.
While the original Bartleet B logo was first introduced 25 years ago
to reflect the parent company's diversification into non-traditional
fields such as electronics, computers, finance and trading, the new
version symbolises the internal changes arising from the repositioning
strategy undertaken to take the Group forward in the new millennium.
All companies in the Group will incorporate the new logo towards
achieving a conceptual unity in presentation of their brand identity.
This standardisation will now be reflected in their corporate
communication and promotional material.
The new Group website (www.bartleetgroup.com) has been launched to
inform the public about operations and future plans.
A photo gallery depicting the 100-year plus history of Bartleets was
also unveiled in the main lobby of the Group's headquarters at Braybrook
Place, Colombo 2.
