Five member UNP committee for SLFP talks

The UNP yesterday welcomed future discussions with the Government over the North-East problem and said that a five-member committee will be named shortly to meet SLFP representatives.Speaking to the `Sunday Observer' UNP, Deputy General Secretary Tissa Attanayaka said they had already informed the Government to furnish the names of their representatives.

"We will appoint our committee after the Government makes known their committee," he said.
