THURAIRASALINGAM - A.  (former Finance Director of Lipton's) died on January 8, 2007 after a brief illness, surrounded by loved ones. A.T. Lingam, a long time resident of 5/1, Castle St., Colombo 8, was the son of late Mr Aiyathurai and Mrs Thangaratnam Aiyathurai. He was an honours graduate from the University of Ceylon (Colombo) and a fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Sri Lanka. He was an active member of the Rotary Club of Colombo West. He is survived by his beloved wife Sathyadevi, daughter Latha, son-in-law of Dr. Mahendra, granddaughters Dr. Dharini and Luxme, son Jegan, daughter-in-law Sugantha, grandchildren Ashan and Priyanka, son Muhundan, daughter-in-law Suganthy, grandchildren Vithushan and Devika, daughter Amutha, son-in-law Thayaparan, granddaughters Brintha and Bavana, son Ahilan and daughter-in-law Deepali, affectionate son-in-law of the late Mr & Mrs Rajendram, loving brother of Mrs Thurairatnam Ponudurai, Mrs Paikiaratnam Sabaratnam (the late), Mrs Guna Satchithanda, brother-in-law of the late Mr Ponudurai Ayar, Mr Sellathurai Sabaratnam, Mr R.
