LTTE's No. 3 arms buyer before NY Court
Pradeepan Thavarajah, the number three man in the
procurement of arms in the terrorist group , Liberation Tigers of
Tamil Eelam (LTTE) who was brought before a US Federal Courts judge
in New York pleaded not guilty to the charges brought against him of
trying to send surface to air missiles to Sri Lanka.

T'Nadu steps up coastal security
The Tamil Nadu State government plans to set up
12 new Marine Police stations along the coast in addition to the
present 60 to 100 within the next six months to curb arms smuggling
to Sri Lanka.

Navy heroes at Digampatana remembered
A pinkama to mark the completion of three months of the death of over
100 Navy personnel killed in the LTTE blast at Digampatana and to pass
merit on them will be held at the premises on January 15 and 16.
