Flying legs and shooting flames

Amidst a spectacular display of flying legs and shooting flames, Carmart Limited, sole agents for Peugeot in Sri Lanka, launched the latest Peugeot models to hit our shores.

Set to a Parisian theme, the event showcased an 'Arc de Triumph' entryway and included a replica Eiffel tower to transform the Galadari Ballroom and immerse the audience in a French ambience.

The packed gathering included French Ambassador HE Michel Lummaux; Hon Anura Priyadarshana Yapa, Minister of Mass Media and Information and Hon Lakshman Yapa Abeywardene, Minister of Media. Guests were entertained by live performances of the Hat Dance and Can Can, with a fire dance as an interlude.

Pictures here show dancers performing 'The Can Can' while the many guests present that day enjoying the spectacular event.
