All you beautiful ladies over 17 years of age, send in your
applications. The search is on for Ms Lanka 2007 and Ms Sunday Observer
2007 with the closing date for the former set for October 05, 2007.
Marital status is irrelevant, but all contestants have to be citizens of
Sri Lanka.
Making dreams come true by helping to uplift the lives of children
with disabilities is the main purpose behind the annual event of Ms
Lanka Beauty for a Cause Pageant now in its 13th successive year.
Gwendoline Kuhatheva and her team of volunteers from Technique
International together with the sponsors aim to raise funds for the new
Ophthalmic Unit of the Lady Ridgeway Hospital this year.
Ms Lank 2007 is scheduled to be held on 2 December 2007.

We are happy to announce that those who enter the main contest become
eligible to contest for the Ms. Sunday Observer title. The first five
contestants who collect the highest number of reader votes will receive
bonus points at the Ms. Lank 2007 contest.
Voting for Ms. Sunday Observer will start after the entries close for
the main contest. |
