Swarnamahal Financial Services Ltd (SFSL) headquarted in Colombo will
open three branches in Negombo, Kurunegala and Kandy in the near future,
said Director/ CEO SFSL Hafeez Rajudeen at the opening of the new head
office at No 654, Galle Road Colombo 3.
Established in 2005 with a full paid up share capital of Rs 200 mln
SFSL is the first finance company to be registered under the new
regulations of the Central Bank.
Though the company was set up in 2005 the group has been in business
for over five decades and therefore the people trust the name
Swarnamahal.
He said the portfolio of products have been designed to suit any age
limit and we also tailor-make some products to suit the requirements of
customers.

SFSL has a range of products from the very basic minor savings
products to arranging hire purchase facilities, loans for professionals
to build their career and a scheme for senior citizens where they can
borrow money on their savings.
As a value addition service the dedicated sales force also visits the
homes of individuals for their convenience.
CFSL is fully automated and the interest rates are in keeping with
Central Bank regulations.
Among the major plans for the future are strengthening the bonds with
customers. At present CFSL employs around 50 and plans are afoot to
expand the staff strength as well.
