Drama on a flower

Using the long hours he spends on the tea fields as a planter, Mahendra Prasad, has found a way to bring out the drama that takes place, daily in what he calls the "micro-world" around us, without doing an iota of damage to the environment.
He sees the time he spends out of doors as a part of his profession, as a blessing in disguise because this allows him to study nature at its pristine best. But in stead of focusing on the larger picture he concentrates on the micro habitats that escapes the attention of the majority - such as the scenarios enacted by various miniscule actors in a continuing drama on the stage within a flower.

Mahendra's exhibition of nature photography, "Visitors, Flowers and Nature", will be held at the Lionel Wendt Arty Gallery, on the 10th and 11th of November, 2007.
