Coca-Cola partners with Pizza-Hut

Coca-Cola Beverages Sri Lanka Limited, signed a partnership agreement with Pizza-Hut.

Basil Gadzios, Country Manager for Coca-Cola Sri Lanka and Yasa Nadaraja, Chief Operating Officer for Pizza-Hut signed the partnership agreement at Pizza-Hut, Union Place recently.

Under the new partnership agreement Coca-Cola will be the official soft drinks provider for the Pizza-Hut chain in Sri Lanka. Coca-Cola Sri Lanka created history in the Asian region by being the first Coke operation to sign a supplier partnership agreement with the Pizza-Hut chain.

Gadzios said, "This is a highly strategic agreement between two large multinational companies which is expected to harness mutual benefits for both organisations. As we have identified strong and compatible synergies among us, I'm sure together we will be able to add value to the fast-food industry in Sri Lanka and help it grow into substantial levels."

Coca-Cola is always on the look out for opportunities to add fun and excitement into the lives of its consumers.

The signing of our partnership agreement with Pizza-Hut in Sri Lanka is yet another initiative in this regard. I am confident that this historic development would not only refresh our consumers in mind, body and spirit but would also enable them to create memories with their loved ones," said Manish Chatuvedi, Country Manager, Sri Lanka and the Maldives, Coca-Cola Far East Limited.

The partnership agreement that comes into effect from this month is expected to be a long-term one that ensures a high level of service to customers and adds value to the fast-food industry.

Yasa Nadarajah, COO of Pizza-Hut said, "We are proud to be associated with the No. 1 brand in the world and expect Coca-Cola to help our growth endeavours. We believe this partnership will refresh our customers while delivering moments of truth.

We are planning some new and exciting things and expect to deliver more value to customers with the help of Coca-Cola."

Ms. Ramzeena Lye, Head of Marketing for Pizza-Hut said that it was exciting to note the partnership between two of the world's most recognised and preferred brands and that plans are under way to promote a trendy lifestyle.
