Clement Curt:

Rocks Negombo

"Negombo Mayor's Award 2006-2007" was one of the biggest life time achievements for Dj Clement Curt in 08 years of his Dj career. Clement was awarded the, "Most Outstanding & Most Popular Dj" for year 2006-2007 at this ceremony.

This award is very special for him as it is an achievement for his home town, Negombo. He's really impressed about himself to receive this award from the Major along with Dj Randi Coin on the same stage. Who has become a leader for the younger generation who represent youngsters like Dj Clement Curt.

The ceremony was held at the Negombo Municipal Council Auditorium recently for the first time under the directions of Negombo Mayor Nimal Lanza to pay tribute to some of the most outstanding people who worked for the people of Negombo. There were more than 90 awards given to different categories.

Dj Clement Curt started his career as a mobile Dj when he was still schooling. He later joined leading Night Clubs like; Lords & Sun Set Night Club. Today he has proven himself to be in a good position through his 08 years of Dj Career. 2006 was a fruitful year for him in his life. Clement got selected as one of the top 10 Djs from the "Denon Dj of the Year 2006".

It was an unforgettable life experience too. Currently he's been contracted with the two R & B bands, which are; 3 EC and Bornfree. And also, he's been working as a full time Dj under Music Show Entertainment "Dam Jam Dj's" Negombo.

He has been Dj for most happening concerts in Sri-Lanka, abroad. Having worked with lots of outstanding artistes in the music industry and also in the contemporary Club scene much to the delight of many guests who patronize the night clubs. He has built up his position as a professional Dj; by his own effort.

Last Christmas Clement played at the most extravagant Christmas bash in Maldives. This year too his Christmas destination will be Maldives. He is impressed about how he built-up his career during the last 08 years and also about his future dreams.

Next year he is keen to move on with his studies on Entertainment Management and Sound Engineering which will improve his career two folds in the coming year.
