The three close circuit cameras in various locations within the Ministry premises captured the entry of the female assassin into the Ministry at 7.40 a.m. on Wednesday. The second shot was the assassin waiting in the queue to submit her identity card and seek permission to meet the Public Relations Officer at the Ministry. The final episode showed the assassin first sitting in front of the PRO and later pulling a strap from her blouse and detonating herself.


Attempt on EPDP leader's life captured on CCTV

The assassination attempt on Minister and EPDP leader Douglas Devananda was somewhat a 'drama in real life' according to EPDP's media spokesman. The spokesman said that for the first time a suicide attack had been recorded live on closed circuit TV cameras.
