‘Hanthanen Ena Pawanak’ was performed recently at the premises of the
University of Peradeniya as a collective effort of the faculties of
Arts, Medicine and Engineering.
The specialty of this program was that it was able to show the team
spirit of the University students with the assistance of the panel of
lecturers to make such a programme a reality. An event like this has
been organised for the first time in university history in Sri Lanka. A
CD comprising songs written, composed and sung by university students
and the staffers was also released at the same occasion.
