Kandy District - Masters Games champs with 430 points

ATHLETICS: Kandy District with 430 points came on top of the
Masters games Athletic Championships held recently at the Bogambara
Stadium.
In second place was Gampaha District with 399 points. With regard to
the trophies, Gampaha District collected 9 trophies, Kandy District 7
while Kegalle had 4 trophies.
Colombo District had 3 trophies and Moneragala and Nuwara Eliya
Districts had one trophy each.

Men
40 to 45 years: D. Gnanadasa (Kandy), 45 to 50: Dikson Silva
(Colombo), G. Dahanayake (Gampaha) and K. Karunaratne (Kandy), 50 to 55:
K. Silva (Gampaha), 55 to 60: W. Fernando (Gampaha) and K. Selvanathan (Nuwara
Eliya), 60 to 65: M. Bandara (Gampaha), 65 to 70: N. Narasinghe (Kandy),
70 to 75: A. Samarasundera (Kegalle), 75 to 80: H. Jayasekera (Kandy).
Women
30 to 35: W. Malkanthi (Moneragala), 35 to 40: Chandanie Wijesinghe (Kandy)
and H. Withanawasam (Gampaha), 40 to 45: Pushpika Perera (Kandy), 45 to
50: K. Karunaratne (Colombo), 50 to 55: M. Perera (Gampaha), 55 to 60:
