Fact-finding visit to Colombo

Use of offshore sand

CCI in collaboration with the Sri Lanka Land Reclamation and Development Corporation (SLLRDC) will conduct a seminar on "Use of Offshore Sand as an alternative to River Sand for use in Construction" on April 29 at the Galle Face Hotel. The seminar will be inaugurated by Minister of Urban Development and Sacred Area Development Dinesh Gunawardena.

Prof. Priyan Dias and Dr. Anura Nanayakkara of the University of Moratuwa, Dr. N.P Wijayananda, Chairman, Geological Survey and Mines Bureau, Eng. Karunasena Hettiarachchi, Chairman, SLLRDC, M.A.A.N.
