Fact-finding visit to Colombo

and Bangladesh and Aditya Khullar, Marketing Manager, India and Sri
Lanka for Swiss International AirLines made a fact-finding visit to
Colombo recently.
The program prepared for them by the Management staff of their
long-time Sri Lankan partner and G. S. A. - Baurs Airservices Ltd. a
subsidiary of A. Baur and Co. Ltd., enabled them to gather a vast amount

Use of offshore sand
CCI in collaboration with the Sri Lanka Land Reclamation and
Development Corporation (SLLRDC) will conduct a seminar on "Use of
Offshore Sand as an alternative to River Sand for use in Construction"
on April 29 at the Galle Face Hotel. The seminar will be inaugurated by
Minister of Urban Development and Sacred Area Development Dinesh
Gunawardena.
Prof. Priyan Dias and Dr. Anura Nanayakkara of the University of
Moratuwa, Dr. N.P Wijayananda, Chairman, Geological Survey and Mines
Bureau, Eng. Karunasena Hettiarachchi, Chairman, SLLRDC, M.A.A.N.
