Opportunities from CSDP
The Children Skills Development Programme (CSDP) is organising a
series of national competitions with regard to World Environment Day,
for the 12th consecutive year.
The competitions are in the areas of art, posters, essays, dancing,
short plays, song and poem compositions, singing, acting, announcing,
creating advertising leaflets, creating novel items and equipment using
discarded material and designing greeting cards out of discarded
material.
They will be conducted under three age groups: Pre-school, Under 12
and Over 12. Certificates will be awarded to all participants apart from
the winners.
The CSDP will be accepting applications for the competitions till May
1, while compositions will be accepted till May 15.

Meanwhile, the CSDP is also providing an opportunity for children
between the ages of 10 and 17 and youth between the ages of 18 and 25 to
take part in a cultural show and singing, dancing and quiz competitions
being held in Chennai, India in the first week of May.
