Lavish Ha-Cream

Ha-Cream is spending money like nobody's business for the Eastern polls. His supporters and Congress candidates are making donations and bribing Easterners to woo their vote. Ha-Cream is in constant touch with the Wanni. One wonders whether the unprecedented funding is from his 'liberation friends'.

Jayalath busy

Talking about the links with the Wanni, the busiest man running to and fro is Ja-ela Jayalath, not to extract Prabha's teeth but to ensure that the funding and protection comes to the Greens. His leader has given a free hand to Jayalath as he is the link for the lavish contributions from the Wanni.

Tiger deal

Ra-Blue met the Elephant Party candidates for the Eastern polls on his return from abroad. He assured them that they have a Tiger guarantee and asked the candidates to intensify their election campaigns. Ra-Blue told them that there will be no interference or resistance from the Tigers as they have secured a deal.

Already lost

Es Bee has told party candidates and stalwarts that there is no point in canvassing in Batti for the Eastern Polls. Es Bee said the G-ment would make a clean sweep in Batti and there is no point is canvassing there. Instead, he has asked their candidates to concentrate on Trinco and Ampara.

Ra-Blue rejected

Ra-Blue's idea of having another May Day rally in Ampara to counter the governing party's rally has been rejected by the majority. Though Ra-Blue insisted that the Elephant Party should have a similar May Day rally in Ampara to woo voters, responsible party seniors have turned it down saying that it could lead to unnecessary clashes.

Sinister moves

Sun-Kind leader has instructed his big-time trader buddies to disrupt rice sales so that the G-ment would be blamed. Some of his confidants who fell in line were on the mat while the others were forced to get back to usual business as G-ment released ample stocks.
