Thomian rugby coach Ronny resigns

Ronny Ibrahim the former Kingswood College player and the present
head coach of the Thomian rugby outfit gave his resignation from the
post of head coach with effect from yesterday.
The reason for his resignation is not yet clear.
But according to reliable source too many hands are involved with the
senior team. Despite of all these the Thomians have done really well
this season.
The outfit led by National Youth player Rohitha Rajapaksa and Ronny's
guiding they have beaten St. Peter's 22-19, Isipathana 17-15, Vidyartha
64-0, Rajans 22-20.
They were only beaten by Trinity (0-15) and Kingswood (7-29). After
all the issues Thomians went down to a 'B' division Josephian outfit.
Though a few leading "A" division clubs who were interested in Ronny, he
has not decided on his future if to continue in coaching rugby or not. |
