Essential food to be sold cheaper at economic centres
Three economic centres will be set up shortly in
Maradana, Narahenpita and Ratmalana to sell essential food items at
reduced prices. Customers can purchase rice, vegetables, dried fish,
milk and milk foods and sweets from the producers directly at their
sales stalls in these economic centres, said Minister Bandula
Gunawardena.

SEMSA to woo foreign investments
Sri Lanka will be able to attract much needed
foreign investments from Southern Europe when “South Europe meets
South Asia next year. A strategic partnership among South European
countries and South Asian Countries has been created to promote
bilateral trade with assistance from the Asia Invest Program, an arm
of the European Commission.
