For the team event, the tourney will be conducted on a knock-out or league basis and each tie will consist of a men's singles, ladies singles and mixed doubles. In each tie, the first match will be the mixed doubles match. The person who forwards the entry (MBA member) as a rule has to play the mixed doubles match.

The player who forwards the entry (MBA member) should be a married person. The marriage and birth certificates to be produced if they are required. The individual event is designed for members who are married but have no children unable to play in the team event due to some reason.
