'Black Belts' for Elegoda and Unantenna in India

Two Sri Lankan Karatekas - R. Ananda Elegoda and S. Manoj Unantenna won their Black Belt titles (karate) at the 13th Funakeshi International Karate Championship held in India. Unantenna won the 4-5 Black Belt category while Elegoda won the 6-7 category. Karatekas from South Africa, Zambia, Nepal and India besides Sri Lanka participated at the championships.

Manoj Unantenna is the chief instructor of Karate Do Netsinkan Setekan of Sri Lanka branch and Ananda Elegoda is the chief instructor of Okinowa Sherin Riv of Sri Lanka branch.
