Hajireen elected Senior V.P. of ASF

SEPAKTAKRAW: The well-known sportsman Nizan Hajireen has been re-elected to the Asian Sepaktakraw Federation (ASF) as a Senior Vice-President (VP) and also as Vice-Chairman of Technical Committee and a Member of the Executive Board of the International Sepaktakraw Federation uncontested. T

he election was held at the Royal Rivera Hotel in Bangkok last month and the election was for the period 2008 to 2012. Hajireen is the President of the Amateur Sepaktakraw Association of Sri Lanka. Hajireen’s election as a Vice-President and a member of various committees gives Sri Lanka a much needed push to get the country moving in the sport.

Sri Lanka’s delegation to the above congress comprised Nizam Hajireen and Sri Lanka association’s council members M. R. Kumar and N. Perumal.
