RUGBY: Last year’s winner Sanjeeva Jayasinghe of Kandy Sports Club and Kandy SC took an early lead in the Sunday Observer organised Caltex Lubricants sponsored Most Popular Rugger Player 2008 and Most Popular Rugger team 2008 competition at the end of count number 1.

Voting was black being the first week, hopefully it should gather momentum in the following weeks and the rugby fans are bound to give their fullest backing to their favourite player and clubs.
