Epic knock of 234 by Jeevantha

CRICKET: Dynamic all rounder Jeevantha Kulatunga hit a trail blazing 234 as Colts CC piled up a massive 448 runs in their first innings on the second day of their SLC Premier League Tier A tournament match against Ragama CC continued at Havelock Park yesterday.

Kulatunga hoisted a dozen sixes and struck 23 boundaries while facing only 194 deliveries. He also put on a huge 353 runs for the fifth wicket along with Roshane Silva who hammered a splendid 147 inclusive of two sixes and 18 boundaries.

Colts CC: 448 (J. Kulatunga 234, R. Silva 147, K. Weeraratne 2 for 107, D. Gamage 2 for 75, U. Indrasiri 5 for 107).

Ragama CC: 197 for 4 (S. Soysa 79 n.o., D. Perera 72 n.o, T. Perera 3 for 23).

Splendid 117 by Tharanga

Skipper Tharanga Paranavithana hit a splendid 117 to help the defending champions SSC snatch first innings points over CCC on the second day of their SLC Premier League Tier A tournament match continued at Maitland Place yesterday.

Niroshan Bandaratilleke took a match bag of ten wickets to put Baduraliya CC on course to an outright victory over Sri Lanka Army SC on the second day of their SLC Premier League Tier A tournament match continued at the R. Premadasa Stadium yesterday.
