Total hip replacement

The Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon of the National Hospital Dr. Upali Banagala has recommended that Mrs. U. Dayanandani of No. 42, Pattigoda, Veyangoda, who is suffering from osteo-arthritis should undergo immediate surgery for a hip-bone graft.

She is a mother of two and her husband being a cultivator, they are not in a position to afford the surgery which will cost over Rs. 300,000.
