Working the ball on blind side
Ra-Blue may have never held a rugby ball in his school life, but
nevertheless, he effectively 'worked the ball on the blind side' in
getting Sun Kind-Leader as the organiser that is national in the
Elephant Party.
He employed his political maturity over Saa-jeet, the Love-Slave, to
bestow the post on Kind-Leader (all three from the same school) - ahead
of Middle-Banda, the Reformists' nominee.
Looking for an exit road
Lucky Yapa was outlining the road construction work he had done in
Hakmana to his fellow Em Pees at the Lobby of the Diyawanna House. "Can
you construct a road which would pave the way to get rid of our
leader?," Middle-Bandara queried.
A leader sans a heart
.... Johnny Boy chipped in by saying that the Greens could never
remove Ra-Blue from the party leadership. "He would never fall ill. Even
his doctors have said so." But young Matara Buddhi-Ca could not
understand head or tail. "This is because your party leader does not
have a heart," Johnny said.
Readying for all-Royal big match
Love-Slave is strengthening his reinforcements, which the Reformists
predict to be the final and victorious battle. Nevertheless, Ra-Blue is
equally confident that he could remain in the party leadership after
strengthening his camp having glorified Kind-Leader. Love-Slave is not
going to find it that easy as some of his close confidants too have now
developed fresh links with the Ra-Blue camp.
